The Food Étude grew out of my desire to share recipes with friends and family. Aptly named, an étude is a short musical exercise derived to improve a specific skill or technique. With this blog, I will share my culinary learning journey with some fun playlists.

By day, I am a music educator and trumpeter. I hope to bring my teaching expertise into my recipes, with a little bit of fun along the way.
